Summing Up 2007

It has been a year since I decided to go freelance - how time flies. As it also coincides with a new year it seems like a good point to briefly sum up the past year and to look to the future.

Overall, work has been good, if a little stressful at times. The experience has taught me a lot from a business point of view and has given me some fantastic clients that have been great to work with. I have been very fortunate to have gained many new projects through word of mouth, that most valuable commodity.

It's always a great feeling to see the success a client has with a website or intranet that I have been involved with. I've had some great feedback for the work I've done and the type of development process I use which is something I'll continue to refine.

There are some interesting projects of my own that have been quietly simmering in the background. There will be more about those in the coming months.

Personally, there were ups as well as downs but I'm feeling positive about the year ahead and excited about the prospects that await.

I wish everyone a great 2008!
