I've just looked at the dates of the original Photoshop files and they reveal that I started this site about two and a half months ago. A couple of days after that I had it all nicely coded and it even had some content.
So why has it taken so long to get up and running? Well, I've been a little busy with one thing or another and I didn't want to rush it. Even now I'm not 100% happy with it and will no doubt be tweaking it over the next few weeks. I consider it a work in progress.
In addition to that, because I seem to like making things hard for myself, I'm going to code the blog area from scratch rather than use something off-the-shelf. Why? well, it won't take too long to code, I like using my own frameworks, and I like to know exactly what's going on behind the scenes.
My name is Nina Richards and I'm currently 27 years old. I'm a web developer and all-round geek girl currently living in Kent. Among other things, I love my music, both listening to and making and playing my own.
